ABOUT ME
ADAM DEAN
PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER
Devon bred, London based (mostly)
Never in one place for too long, I chronicle the places I see and the people I meet along the way.
I inherited my love of all things photographic and cinematic from my late father who's old Olympus OM-1 still sits in my camera bag.
I love to shoot on both analogue and digital formats and I often adapt older manual lenses onto modern camera bodies, blending the efficiency of digital with the irreplicable aesthetic of old glass.
People are my usual subjects of choice. I find them to be bizarre, fascinating creatures of equally bizarre habits and photography is my way of studying them from a reasonable distance.
Music has always been a very important part of my life thanks to my parents' record collection. I love to help unknown bands make themselves and their music known through my work.
